What Is Management Quota Admission?
In Karnataka, seats in private engineering colleges are divided between the state government and the college management under an agreement renewed each year between the Government of Karnataka and the private college associations. The broad structure is:

This means the management quota is a minority of seats, not an unlimited pool. A college cannot admit students beyond its sanctioned intake, and the seats it fills directly are capped. Anyone promising you a seat “in any branch, any college” is not describing a process that exists.
Who Is Eligible?
- Pass in 2nd PUC, Class 12 or an equivalent examination, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, plus one optional subject such as Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics.
- Generally a minimum aggregate of 45% in the qualifying subjects for general category candidates, and 40% for reserved categories in Karnataka.
- English as a language subject in the qualifying examination.
