Is management quota admission legal in Karnataka?
Yes — it operates under an agreement between the Government of Karnataka and private college associations. What is illegal is capitation fee: any amount collected over and above the published, receipted fee.
Do I still need a KCET or COMEDK rank?
In most cases, yes. A valid KCET, COMEDK UGET or JEE Main score is normally required even for management quota seats. It changes how the seat is allotted, not whether you need to qualify.
How much does management quota admission cost?
It varies substantially by college and branch, and is revised every academic year — we don’t publish fee tables that go stale. Call us for the current figures for your target branch.
Can students from outside Karnataka apply?
Yes. Karnataka domicile requirements apply only to the state government quota, not to management seats — students from any state, and NRI candidates, are eligible.
