About Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) was established in 1979 by Sri R. Dayananda Sagar under the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust. The college is located at Shavige Malleshwara Hills, Kumaraswamy Layout, Bengaluru, and is one of the larger campuses among the four colleges featured on this site.

DSCE has held autonomous status since 2015, is affiliated to VTU, approved by AICTE and NAAC accredited. It offers one of the broadest ranges of undergraduate engineering branches in Bangalore, including newer specialisations in AI, data science, cyber security and robotics.

Admission Process for Management Quota

KCET 2026 is expected around April 23–24 with results June 6; COMEDK UGET 2026 around May 9 with results May 29. Management enquiries typically run March–July. Call us for confirmed 2026 dates.

Eligibility Criteria

• Pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 or equivalent, with Physics and Mathematics compulsory plus one optional subject
• Minimum 45% aggregate (general category), 40% for Karnataka reserved categories
• Valid KCET / COMEDK / JEE Main score required even for management-route seats
• No Karnataka domicile requirement for management/NRI seats

DSCE’s NIRF 2026 submission (based on AY2024-25 data) recorded a B.E. median package of ₹5.5 LPA, with 1,197 students placed and 318 pursuing higher studies out of 1,526. A ₹56 LPA highest-package figure has been publicised by the college but is not yet corroborated by a named-offer disclosure — treat it as a claim, not a confirmed figure.
