Frequently Asked Questions

Is DSCE the same as Dayananda Sagar University?

No. DSCE (Kumaraswamy Layout, autonomous, VTU-affiliated) is a separate institution from Dayananda Sagar University (a private university at Harohalli/Electronic City) and from DSATM. Confirm which one you’re applying to.

Which branch has the best placement record at DSCE?

CSE and its specialisations (AI & ML, Data Science) typically lead placement outcomes, though exact branch-wise figures aren’t officially broken out. Call us for more specific guidance.

Is the ₹56 LPA highest package figure accurate?

It has been publicised by the college but we haven’t found a named-offer disclosure confirming it independently. Treat it as a claim rather than a verified figure, and ask us for the latest confirmed data.

How competitive is DSCE compared to RVCE or BMSCE?

DSCE ranks below RVCE and BMSCE on NIRF and generally has more institutional-seat availability, particularly in core branches, making it a realistic option for students whose rank doesn’t reach the top two colleges.
