Computer Science Engineering (CSE)
The most competitive branch at RVCE by a wide margin. Institutional (management) seats are extremely limited — often none remain after government and COMEDK rounds.
Information Science Engineering (ISE)
Close behind CSE in demand, with similar placement outcomes and a similarly competitive management quota.
AI & Machine Learning / CSE – Data Science / CSE – Cyber Security
Newer specialisations that have quickly become nearly as competitive as core CSE, given industry demand for these skill sets.
Better Management Quota Availability
Mechanical Engineering
A core branch with strong industry relevance in manufacturing, automotive and design — generally more institutional seats available than in CSE-family branches.
Civil Engineering
Consistently strong demand from infrastructure and construction sectors, with more accessible management-quota admission than CSE.
Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Biotechnology
Smaller, specialised branches that tend to have the most institutional-seat headroom of any at RVCE, at correspondingly lower management-quota fees.
