BMSCE Admission Series

BMS College of Engineering Admission Procedure 2026

A complete walkthrough of the three admission routes into BMSCE and what happens at each step, including the trust’s own no-agents payment policy.

BMS College of Engineering fills seats through KCET, COMEDK and its own management quota route, run by the BMS Educational Trust. The trust’s process is notably transparent about how fees are paid — worth understanding before you apply.

Route 1: KCET (Government Quota)

Allotted centrally by KEA based on your KCET rank and option entry. BMSCE offers both aided and CET-unaided seats under this route — report to the college with your allotment order for document verification within KEA’s specified window.

2026 KCET Timeline (as announced)
Exam: April 23–24, 2026  •  Result: June 6, 2026  •  Round 1 allotment: July 15, 2026

Route 2: COMEDK UGET

Run by the COMEDK consortium, open to candidates nationwide. Take the UGET exam, get a rank, then participate in COMEDK’s centralised counselling across multiple rounds.

2026 COMEDK Timeline (as announced)
Exam: May 9, 2026  •  Result: May 29, 2026  •  Counselling: from June 2026

Route 3: Management Quota (Direct to BMS Educational Trust)

1
Contact the BMS Educational Trust directly — applications run March through July.
2
Submit your KCET/COMEDK/JEE Main scorecard plus PUC marks — required even on this route.
3
Eligibility verification against minimum aggregate and PUC subject requirements.
4
Provisional allotment confirming branch and category.
5
Fee payment by demand draft — drawn directly from the parent’s account, payable to “BMS Educational Trust.”
6
Final confirmation once fees clear.
Why BMSCE’s process is worth noting
BMSCE’s own published process explicitly requires the demand draft to be drawn directly from the parent’s bank account — not through an agent, consultant, or third-party intermediary. This is a strong, college-stated transparency signal and a useful template for what a legitimate process should look like anywhere.
