Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology Admission Procedure 2026
A complete walkthrough of KCET, COMEDK and management quota admission into Sir MVIT’s 133-acre Yelahanka campus.
Sir MVIT fills its seats through the same three-route structure as every private engineering college in Karnataka. Being non-autonomous, it follows VTU’s academic calendar closely, but the admission routes themselves work the same way as at any other private college in the state.
Route 1: KCET (Government Quota)
Allotted centrally by KEA based on your KCET rank and option entry. Report to Sir MVIT with your allotment order for document verification within KEA’s specified window.
Route 2: COMEDK UGET
Run by the COMEDK consortium, open nationwide. Take the UGET exam, get a rank, then participate in COMEDK’s centralised counselling.
Route 3: Management Quota (Direct to Sri KET)
Call us for the confirmed 2026 admission circular.
